Bollard , also known as lifting ground column, lifting road pile, anti-collision road pile, hydraulic rising bollard , isolation pile, etc. English name Bollard. The term Bollard originally described a short vertical column that is often used when large ships in the port are moored. Now its meaning has been expanded to describe various facilities that manage pedestrian traffic, protect critical infrastructure, set perimeters, and differentiate roads.
According to legend, street fences began in the 17th century and were shaped like inverted cannons, used as boundary settings and city signs. Since then, they have appeared more and more in our daily lives, such as supermarkets, restaurants, hotels, shops and stadiums. We can often see bollards of different shapes, or used to indicate the direction of travel, or used to protect us from injury, or used to tell whether parking is possible here. These beautiful-looking bollards beautify the environment, distinguish between sidewalks and driveways, and sometimes even serve as chairs to allow us to sit down and enjoy lunch.
Fixed metal bollards are the most common. They are generally painted steel pillars about 40 cm high, with cement poured inside and installed on the ground. 3. Electromechanical fully automatic lifting: the lifting of the cylinder is driven by the built-in motor of the cylinder.
Semi-automatic lifting column: The ascending process is driven by the power unit built in the column, and it is completed by human power when descending.
4. Lifting type lifting column: the lifting process requires manual lifting to complete, and it depends on the weight of the column body when descending.
5. Movable lifting column: the column body and the base part are designed separately, and can be stowed when the column body does not need to control.
6. Fixed column: The column is directly fixed to the road surface.
