The difference from before is that most exhibitors no longer emphasize the advanced nature of algorithms and computing power, but more to show the practicality of the technology in the scene.
The development of AI in the security industry has probably gone through three stages: the influx of capital into technology-mature technology and scenes-scenario data backfeed technology.
In the first half, we paid more attention to "algorithm-computing power-data", considering technical capabilities, and everyone basically completed it; in the second half, we should focus on "plan-implementation-operation and maintenance", considering the ability to land in the scene , Actual combat is king.
AI is not omnipotent. How to correctly guide customer expectations, how to understand the real needs of customer scenarios, and how to do a good job in the foundation of informatization before doing AI are the current problems encountered in the promotion of AI in the security industry.
I used to say that AI empowers all industries, AI+. Now it seems that this argument is too big, it should be security + AI is more appropriate, AI is a tool to accelerate technology and market changes.
The scope of AI in the security industry is also expanding. The first is the expansion of scenarios, from To G (city management, public security, transportation, etc.) to To B (community, education, etc.); the second is the expansion of technology, which is not just what we are familiar with. AI is used in various recognition technologies of ISP, video encoding and decoding, data transmission, equipment operation and maintenance, etc.
